Under Australian fair trading laws both Rom Designs and the consumer’s rights and responsibilities are outlined below:
We are not required to provide a refund for a change of mind.
We do not offer refund or exchange for any custom designed piece, unless deemed to be faulty. Any issue must be emailed to email@example.com within 14 days of accepting delivery of the order so we can discuss options. If you are returning the order for a full refund arrange return of the order within 21 days after such notification.
For hygiene reasons, earrings and head pieces cannot be returned unless proved faulty by Rom Designs.
You must provide a “proof of purchase” being a Paypal or bank statement, or delivery note. Return the order to PO Box 770, Inglewood Western Australia 6932.
If you are returning a product from a country outside Australia you must mark on the postal company’s consignment note that it is a return/replacement so the product does not attract customs duties and taxes again.
You must return the product in its original condition and in its original packaging. You are responsible for the cost of shipping and insurance on the Product and please send using delivery confirmation or tracking. Rom Designs are not responsible for any returned packages lost or damaged by shipping companies.
Upon receipt of the order by Rom Designs we will refund to you the purchase price for the product, less any shipping costs. Refunds can only be credited back to the account that was used to make the original purchase. Please allow 14 days from the day you return the product for your account to be credited.
There are no options for exchange due to the one-off design nature of each piece.
Repairs/replacement for faulty product will be performed at Rom Designs expense and returned to you. Rom Designs will bear the cost of returning the product to you for faulty product.
