So many people in our community support our business and in return we are committed to returning the goodwill by supporting local schools, hospitals and non-profit organizations by providing jewellery and gift vouchers for fundraising events or simply lending a hand.

Some of the people we have supported are:

Rom Designs proudly support a project in the wider global community:

TCF Ormoc, Philippines Community Sewing Project

TCF Global community sewing project aimed to assist women to start a small sewing business in Ormoc and the project provided the necessary sewing machines and raw materials to the locals to assist their creativity and produce evening wear, children’s wear, uniforms and home wares.

On the 8th November 2013, the strongest tropical cyclone ever recorded devastated Leyte in Southern Philippines.  Typhoon Haiyan, known as Super Typhoon Yolanda showed no mercy and destroyed everything in it’s path.  My love of Philippines is no secret to those who know me and I couldn’t try to help these beautiful people in some way.  Rhay’s hometown in Ormoc took a massive blow with 88,000 losing their homes and belongings. 6200 fishermen lost their fishing boats which meant their livelihood was gone too.

I had an idea to put on an event and turns out that Rhay was thinking the same.  We got busy putting the plans in place.  My events background  came in handy on this particular occasion as we had very little time to make it happen.

We rallied and our community came out to support our Raise the Roof Rock Concert where we raised enough to ensure 101 families had temporary shelter.

Our efforts are not limited to one event and we continue to support those in need as each calamity unfolds.
